About the Club
The Highland Gentlemen's Classic Car Club is a fellowship of motoring enthusiasts in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, drawn together by a shared love of classic and collectible cars and the stories behind them. The Highlands — its cool climate, its winding country roads, and its quiet villages from Bowral to Berrima and beyond — have long been home to people who appreciate fine machinery, and our club exists to bring them together.
We meet for unhurried runs through the district, gather at shows and members' events, and spend the occasional evening in the shed talking through a restoration. But more than a register of fine cars, the club is about camaraderie: good company, shared knowledge, and the willing exchange of help and advice that keeps these vehicles on the road.
At the heart of it all is a simple idea — that every member has a car, and every car has a story worth preserving. Where it was found, what it has lived through, the hands and the miles behind it: these are the histories we set out to record and pass on. New members join by application, and each one brings another chapter to the club's collective story of classic motoring in the Highlands.
